It all started in 1991 in Vermont Street in Los Feliz, a nearby town of LA. When Eli Bonerz and Adam Silverman decided to open up a clothing store. It didn't took long until the store got successful and was adapted by the diverse community living around them. Even personalities such as Mike D of the Beastie Boys, Spike Jonez, and Chloe Sevigny could not resist the little shop. Now over 20 years the iconic Gorilla logo is placed on their clothing, that gets inspired by work wear, vintage, and club scene aesthetics; to mid-century design, skateboarding and music influences. Down to the present day the XLARGE brand influences the streetwear culture worldwide.
